About Us
Rise Walk and Shine is a not-for-profit organisation in Mandurah focused on building a stronger, more connected community through meaningful experiences and shared cultural understanding.
We work closely with local groups, volunteers, and community partners to create opportunities for people to come together and thrive.

Our Vision
A connected and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to participate.
Our mission is to foster well-being, friendship, and community engagement through inclusive programs, cultural experiences, and shared activities.
We support people from Culturally Linguistic and Diverse Communities (CaLD) and newly-arrived immigrants who are not citizens.
Well-being
We hold free and low-cost activities throughout the year. Some are held inside, some are held outside. Some are educational, others are just for fun!
Most of our activities promote physical and/or mental well-being.
Here are some examples:
Family games nights, movie nights, picnics, karaoke, clean-ups, bus trips, crafting, nature walks, Children’s singing group, English Conversation Circle, Harmony singing group, dancing at schools and aged care homes.

Workshops include:
Food Handling, Healthy Eating, Yoga, Cooking Demonstrations, Tai Chi, Meditation,
Personal Health, Wildlife Photography, Celebrating Diversity, Breath Work, Dancing (beginners, intermediate and advanced), Welcome to Mandurah, Learn basic Farsi, Understanding different faiths and belief systems, Championing equality, diversity and inclusion, Breaking down barriers, Culture, language & communication.

Please note:
Our English Conversation Circle (chat group for newly-arrived migrants) is no longer running. Please consider the City of Mandurah’s free, casual English Conversation classes where you can practice speaking and make new friends. Find out more.
